<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;font-size:12pt"><DIV><P><SPAN>Watershed based boundaries for Water Resource Inventory Area 1 were delineated for the 2514 Watershed Planning Project and are a composite of computer generated and human interpreted surface water Delineations. Drainage was included for Padden to reflect regulatory overlay district that was created for the area outside the City of Bellingham municipal boundary. A Samish drainage boundary was also included for regulatory purposes. Boundaries are predominantly based on the USGS Watershed Boundaries Map (January 2000). They are a composite of the following agencies’ data: USGS, Whatcom County PDS, Whatcom County Conservation District, City of Bellingham, City of Everson, Lummi Natural Resources, US Forest Service, and British Columbia MELP. Drainage boundaries were verified with WA-DNR and WDFW SSHIAP 1:24,000 scale hydrography, USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps, 1991/1998 orthophotos, and field collected information. </SPAN></P></DIV></DIV> |
